This directory is the first of its kind. It aims to promote Ugandan literature and its authors. Its purpose is to be both a toool and a manisfesto for the recent revival of literature in Uganda. One hundred and thirty authors are profiled including extracts of their work, and an introduction and history of Ugandan literature also features. Both living and deceased writers are included and writers living within Uganda and in the diaspora.
